I’m happy and honored to announce my participating at Corpus Multimedia expo soon in Museum Tot over in Amsterdam!
CORPUS is an intimate, sensorially charged environment where film, art, science, music and ritual come together in a soulful ode to the body – and to life itself.
Upon arrival, you are guided by the host and experience an immersive program in the various spaces of the former funeral home. The exhibition invites reflection, wonder and connection, and challenges us to pause and contemplate the transience of everything around us and the unexpected beauty that lies within it.
Eight contemporary artists present their work, ranging from film and performance to drawings, installations and sound sculptures. Their shared premise: the body is both an endpoint and a passage. “Life and death are not opposites, but move within the same breath,” says curator Sofie Hanegreefs. Our bodies live, breathe, break and die, yet continue to exist in matter, in images, in rituals and in the memories carried by others.
